In 2020, the US Department of Labor anticipates there being over one 1 million unfilled jobs for people who know how to code. Whether through an elective, club, or class, you can learn enough coding to start teaching your students this necessary skill. Join us May 20th for two-hour workshops designed specifically for teachers who want to learn how to code, and how to teach their students to code. There will also be a session for administrators on how to incorporate coding and computer science at your school. 

 


These workshops are for teachers with no experience or background in computer programming.

There are three sessions to choose from: two hands-on workshops that will focus on either Scratch, a programming block language, or HTML/CSS. There is also an administrator session that will explore how to bring computer science to your school.
